Guests will have the opportunity to learn the fascinating history of whiskey while sipping on specially created flights. Our expert hosts will guide you through the production process, barrel aging, and blending techniques, providing insights into the world of whiskey like a true distiller. We believe that whiskey appreciation should be accessible to all, and our tastings are designed to be interactive, entertaining, and educational.
At Kings County Distillery, we exclusively distill our own whiskey, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity. Our whiskeys have garnered accolades from prestigious organizations such as the American Distilling Institute and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. They have also been praised by publications like the New York Times and Whiskey Advocate. Mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged onsite in Brooklyn, our whiskeys embody the spirit of New York City.
During the guided whiskey tasting class, guests will enjoy a flight of our signature whiskeys, including Straight Bourbon, Peated Bourbon, Bottled in Bond Bourbon, Seasonal Infusion, and Chocolate Whiskey. At the conclusion of the class, additional 1 oz pours of other whiskeys are available for purchase at the bar.

Additional Whiskeys: 1 oz pours are available for an additional cost at the bar at the conclusion of the class.

Meeting Point: Please meet us at our bar & tasting room located at 299 Sands Street, on the corner of Sands and Navy. Please do not go directly to the distillery.
Duration: 1 Hour
You must be 21 or older to participate in a distillery tour or whiskey tasting class. At this time children are not permitted on the tour, unless they are young enough to be worn by a parent/guardian in an infant carrier.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time. Traffic is often much worse than one might expect, especially if you are traveling from out of state or far away, so please buffer extra time.
Tours will start no later than 5 minutes after the listed time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late your spot will be forfeited to someone on our waitlist with no option to reschedule or be refunded.

The Gatehouses at Kings County Distillery are historic structures that are not wheelchair accessible. This tour requires going up and down stairs.
How to Redeem
Redeem in person by presenting your New York City Borough Pass to the front desk attendant upon arrival at least 15 minutes before the start of the experience.
